This product is recommended to you who are looking for an affordable, effective, and simple color home surveillance camera. This camera also works great for any application where a professional dome camera is needed. The night vision and picture quality of this camera is good enough (even its not excellent though) for such a price range home surveillance camera. You may use this dome CMOS camera in both home and business applications. With the 12 bright Infra Red LEDs that light up at night, the camera will give black and white night vision for up to 30 ft. in total darkness. With the 60-ft. cable that is included in the package, installing the camera is a breeze. However, it night vision is only effective for approximately 20 feet range. But surely this is no problem if you use in your home I think, 20 feet range is wide enough for a home surveillance purpose. Overall, I think this low end home surveillance camera got a 7 point rating out of 10 scale, considering above strength and weaknesses.
